Do i need a referral?

No referral is necessary. You can make an appointment for a complete diagnostic hearing test without a referral. However, if you have a referral you can receive a Medicare rebate If you have a Pensioner Concession Card, certain Veteran Affairs cards, or receive Sickness Allowance from Centrelink, you may be eligible for a Comprehensive hearing assessment and hearing aids completely paid for by the Commonwealth Government. Conditions apply under the Hearing Services Voucher program.
